Hand showers often have a “Flow Restrictor” inside the handle to save water. If your home has naturally low pressure, this might reduce the flow too much. Check with your plumber if this restrictor needs to be removed.
Stick showers generally have fewer nozzles than large face showers, which actually makes them better for low-pressure environments, as they force the water out with slightly more intensity.
Simply wipe with a soft cloth after use to prevent water spots. Do not use abrasive scouring pads, as they will scratch the mirror-chrome finish.
